The easiest installation ever!

Above the door window of our van (on the inside) was a note that said 'subtle shading done'. I had no idea what they were talking about or where to find a curtain thin enough to fit between the door and the screen door. I went to the Lippert website and it was there. No screws had to be removed for our application. The plafond fits exactly on the intended frame on the door. We lower the curtain at night and raise it in the morning. Dead easy. Solid black tint for nighttime privacy when interior

Plastic locks break when trying to lock yourself in

This is the new 2021 Grand Design 310GK. a good device. When you come home and order a clear shade, check the direction and watch the installation video. The top latched with great difficulty, the locking hooks were difficult to push back - it seemed like they were bent on plastic locks. When attaching the floor but was much more difficult to align, in fact one broke (seems to be a loose or damaged plastic lock. So only 3 locks now. Does Grand Design have any solutions other than replacing theโ€ฆ

Just to keep at it. and was a bit wider.

This product may require a warning label. "do not use when it is hot outside". The photos show how the top part holding the shade in the Fine Shading window can easily warp and give up. I'm sure that's why RV manufacturers use Lippert windows but don't fit curtains. too many complaints. And I think it should be a bit wider for better coverage. but that would make it harder for the cheap plastic mounting points. Proposal for Lippert. Use aluminum for the top bracket and make the screen wider toโ€ฆ

Easy installation BUT. in RV Parts & Accessories

As you've read all the other reviews installation is a breeze, if you have a window ready to shade, simply snap it into place and slide the 4 window latches to the closed position , and you're done. After a few days I noticed that the folds were bunching up like an accordion, I left the window blind 1/2 open. So the top doesn't want to stay neatly folded?! Then when you open the blinds all the way you have to help the harmonica fold or they will stack up and not fold like they should. I suppose

Easy installation! Appearance

When we bought our new trailer, the only window that didn't have a curtain attached was the door. The door was "ready for a subtle tint," and they're not kidding. Attaching the cover took less time than removing it from the box. The roller blind is perfect for the window and provides privacy in the caravan. The only downside to the roller shutter design, which is also a problem with the door design, is that the roller shutters cannot be raised or lowered when the door is closed as it is behindโ€ฆ

Good idea, bad design Do not buy

Easy to install once you have finished your curtain. So initially the curtain needs to be 3/8-1/2 inches wider so it doesn't stick out of the frame. , secondly it doesn't stay folded, thirdly when you fold it you have to fold the accordion by hand because it curls up into a pile, otherwise it works as expected, the rails had to be removed and fell into the track, late update is ok so the first ride the thing is almost useless, after a few days in the sun it now just falls off the hook and asโ€ฆ
