Firmly. More adaptable than a built-in ladder.

Received this after failing to install a new two step ladder on our RV. It seems our mounting bracket is a little off standard and I didn't want to bother with angle grinders and welding. This step is really durable and easy to use. We are new to motorhome driving and I learned from our last trip. The campsites in the state park were gravel and very uneven front to back and side to side. Adjustable feet on this step allow quick adjustment to uneven floors. If I could install a two rung ladder…

Pros
  • Offers excellent stability: Griptape offers a secure hold.
Cons
  • Unsure.

Very strong, easily adjustable step.

Received this Step a few weeks ago and had a chance to try it out over a busy weekend recently. Contrary to some negative reviews, I find that the legs are very easy to adjust, lock securely in the open position, and come in any length you want. The move seems very well done and even if I overuse it I expect it to take quite a while. I really like that it can be adjusted to the incline of my class B motorhome, which has a relatively narrow built-in step, making it safer to get in and out when…

Pros
  • Maximum Support: Step can hold up to 1000 lbs
Cons
  • Hard to say

A solid step except for the studs.

This looks very good and seems to last for many years. I was very happy with this purchase even though it cost more than some of the other steps. I would NEVER want anyone to get hurt getting out of my trailer and I don't think that step will ever be a problem. Some of the cheaper tiers crack and collapse during use. It looks and feels very sturdy. Update: I took this campsite and didn't need it for my two trips. On my third ride, I found that the pins were misaligned and could result in foot…

Pros
  • Easy to transport and store: only 3" tall when folded
Cons
  • Basically ok, but...

Great trailer solution

So our new cargo trailer didn't have a step. Why not? Because all the steps under the car will corrode and eventually fall off. So this is a design feature. We appreciated the dealer's advice not to order a jiffy stand with our custom aluminum trailer. Interestingly, nobody in the trailer universe seems to be offering an aluminum step with aluminum rails to solve the corrosion problem. Other. It's welded to the undercarriage (expensive) with steel rails (which rust) and eventually takes us back

Pros
  • Ideal size: the platform measures 19" x 14.5". Adjustable Height: Height adjustable from 7.5" to 9" for leveling on uneven surfaces
Cons
