I had a Braun Harbor Freight light similar to this but more expensive. This one is plastic in comparison, and I could see it accidentally break if I twist it with a bit of force (the HF version is all metal). The fact that everything is plastic (including the hinges) is the only downside to this flashlight. _Very_ nice that it can be folded in half, which significantly reduces its size if necessary. The rotating magnetic base is also a big plus. Finally, it's very bright. I also like that the flashlight mode can be used with the main light on and that the main light has a dimmer. Overall, this light should last a long time with light to medium use and offer very good value for money. If you think you can knock and abuse it, you'd better use a solid metal flashlight.
