I just got a new computer case that uses a new USB 3.1 connector on my motherboard that doesn't have these connectors. So I bought it along with a 20 pin USB 3.0 PCI-e card to solve this problem. Since it charges my device very well, very quickly, I didn't think twice about it until I tried to unplug it. After pulling on it for 10-15 minutes I gave up. Not because I didn't think I couldn't figure it out, but because I thought I'd break the 20-pin PCI-e 3.0 port. Can't say for sure if it's not letting go of the device or it's PCI-e. However, I wouldn't plug it into any of the USB 3.0 ports on the motherboard for fear of not being able to remove it later if I wanted to. clean and not sticking out. Cons: Once inside, you may not be able to remove it.
