Review on 🩳 Hanes Ladies' Stretch Jersey Bicycle Short by Ricky Habbani

These used to be my favorite shorts and I wore them all summer long. They were hard to find for a while last year so when I saw them back in stock I immediately bought another pair. I was disappointed to find that the fabric had been altered. The old cycling shorts were made of pure cotton/spandex, while the new ones were mostly polyester. They are no longer soft, they are no longer breathable, they are no longer as stretchy and even less attractive. I'm very upset with this change, so I won't buy it again and won't recommend it to others again. I have several pairs from different brands and these Hanes are good value for money. They have a comfortable medium rise and are not bulky. I had no problem with them being visible under other clothing. They keep their shape well and don't stretch a lot after wearing. The downsides for me are that the "black" color is more like an anthracite gray that tarnishes heavily after washing; I prefer a wider waistband for more comfort; prefer a flat seam or lining in the crotch area; and the size is a bit big. I'm 5ft 7in, 220lbs and wear a 14/16 dress or 1 in torrid and the large fits me and I have plenty of room. So if you are a plus size don't be afraid to try this. but if not, consider downsizing if you want a slimmer fit. Neither of these issues was something I consider very important considering these are the cheapest cycling shorts I own. That's why I still give them 4 stars and have actually bought a second pair.
