very good, would buy again

Plenty of storage space. Easy to assemble and disassemble. I've used them for my daily 16 mile round trip to work every day of the week for 10 (now 30) months and over 3000 (now almost 7000) miles. The zippers all work perfectly. Poor waterproofing, the bottom gets wet from splashes, the top seems more waterproof, haven't ridden in heavy rain for more than 3-4 minutes, so wet seems to be more of a problem. Very comfortable pockets and good use of mesh. I put plexiglass panes in the back to mount my four bike taillights, it's very easy to do and it gives me a good view at night. There are side straps that I use for the side lights, another nice feature. In 10 months there is no significant wear, although I remove and reinstall the bags from the frame twice a day. Now 30 months later it's still in great condition except the velcro straps holding the sides to the rack wore out after about 18 months. Instead, I tie the laces on each side, which takes 20 seconds. Zippers and seams are fine. The bag survived the fall unscathed, wish I could say the same. Suggestions for improvement: taillight bands on the back of the top container which already has very handy light mounts on the sides, 2-4 mounts instead of just one as multiple lights greatly improve visibility and safety (four taillights make me taller in traffic). Improve the waterproofing of the bottom and sides to improve splash protection. These are not cons, just suggestions on how to improve a great and inexpensive saddlebag.
