Great pen for sketching and coloring

My favorite pen for drawing is the Uniball Gel Impact 1.0mm which has great ink flow and a beautiful, powerful line. When it comes to felt tips, the Pentel Sign Pen is my number one choice now. I really had a weird dΓ©jΓ  vu moment after ordering them. I remember somehow acquiring a blue one many years ago that is long lost now, but I remember loving the pen back then and couldn't find more of it. Anyway, this pen is a bit unique as the tip is quite long and has a nice taper. It's almost like a short, stiff brush handle. Don't get me wrong, the pen doesn't have a curve, but the length allows you to make thin lines with the tip and broad strokes with the side. It's nice to have that range. In addition, the feathers are quite large, so they keep their shape well. I also like that it's a very compact pen and very economical. It fits in any pen case or in your pocket, making it easy to take with you. The ink bleeds well so you don't get jagged lines and they seem to last quite a while. This is one of those pens that inspire use. It's such a simple design, nothing flashy, but it's so beautiful and functional in a unique way. This is a real "classic". Oh, and by the way, I don't know what that is, but I'm glad I'm not the only maniac with a pen in the world - which I discovered while reading the pen reviews on Revain. I think it's because of how different pens feel and react to the page, so opening a new pen is always fun. (And that's why we have a drawer full of pens)

Pros
  • Bright and intense water based ink perfect for any occasion when you write on paper
Cons
  • Very expensive
