Very nice markers. But I was looking for the ones used for writing by hand, sometimes called brush pens. These are NOT the ones for that. I don't know how some people in the reviews have done examples like this, but I can't. If you're trying to do hand lettering or modern calligraphy, don't buy these. Get a Pentel Touch pen, it looks very similar but writes completely different than these drawing pens. Or get Tombow Fudenosuke. Both are excellent.

I bought this pen in black. It's a dark, sharp black. As advertised, this is a fine tip marker and has a very smooth, comfortable flow of ink. The main use of markers is to fill out legal and medical forms that I need to scan. In my experience, a regular black ballpoint pen doesn't produce writing dark enough for my scanner to read well. I bought this and Paper Mate Flair pens. I am visually impaired and was looking for a marker that I can use to write large to help me read. Between Paper Mate and this one, I prefer this one. This pen makes sharper lines than Paper Mate pens. I find it much easier to read. This tip seems to bleed a little on the side if you accidentally leave it in place when pausing for a bit. Also, this pen is not waterproof. So if you spill water on the writing, it will bleed a little. If you have vision…

My favorite pen for drawing is the Uniball Gel Impact 1.0mm which has great ink flow and a beautiful, powerful line. When it comes to felt tips, the Pentel Sign Pen is my number one choice now. I really had a weird déjà vu moment after ordering them.
