Apparently this can be. I've disassembled my PSPGO before with no problems. The block was completely off. When connecting a new screen, I found that there is absolutely no backlight. I could hear the audio and see the graphics when I hit the screen with the flashlight. There have been quite a few people online who have mentioned a blown fuse when replacing the LCD screen. There are 3 possible fuse positions. You have to search google for pictures showing where they are located. It's even harder to figure out which fuses to replace when you have the skills to change them accurately.
