I use this treadmill for my home office set-up on a daily basis. I have been using it for over a year now. I keep the remote on my monitor base and turn it on when I'm working or on calls. The slowest speed says 0.5 MPH, but it feels a bit faster than that to me based on how the commercial gym treadmills I use feel at 0.5 MPH. In any case, the slowest speed is pretty slow and I can work while walking. I agree with another reviewer than adjusting the knobs to raise and lower the handle is a bit cumbersome, but doable.When the belt began to slip, I lubricated with silicone oil and that resolved the issue. I noticed the treadmill would suddenly stop from time to time, which was jarring and dangerous. I believe the issue was caused by the STOP key hitting my carpet while I was walking just enough to trigger it to halt. Since then, I positioned the handle so it is raised a bit above the carpet and that resolved the sudden stop problem. Overall, this is a great, inexpensive option for a home office treadmill.
