Leak fixed albeit plastic

Mustang Owners 2005-2010 Read Here! I've spent a few hours on the internet looking for just the right parts to replace my poor V6 Mustang with a cracked thermal sensor housing. Look no further! I completed the installation and replaced the lower and upper housing, thermostat, temp sensor and both gaskets. For your convenience, these parts are available on Amazon at a great price, lower than anywhere else I could find online, and DEFINITELY from Ford for Thermostat Housing This will completely rebuild the thermostat housing and everything you need to fix your coolant leak! Parts are assembled in less than 1 minute. The actual installation is significantly different, I've heard stories of dealers charging $1500 for it! A home mechanic can do this himself, and I did it. First remove the air intake hose from the air filter housing and then remove the throttle body. I used a 5/16 quarter inch socket with an extension and a pair of locking pliers to remove the throttle body. I then used WD-40 to clean the cylinder block mating surface after removing the old parts. Before installing the new temperature sensor housing, be sure to place the housing back onto the motor, pay attention to the tabs on the bottom of the housing, make sure to gently insert it into the block before tightening. With careful work you can do it in an hour or two, save a few bucks, it didn't cost me more than $100 as an amateur to do it myself. Much luck!
