Very unstable surface needs weighting or angling

The stand is very unstable and our larger cats cannot use the flower scratching post without knocking it over. In the base there is artificial grass, which is of no interest to our cats. Our kitten loves to scratch the flower and stops as the kitten is still small. The pillar behind the flower is too small for the cats to see. We ended up putting it in a corner of the room so it wouldn't fall. Decent quality but our cats are of little use.
