Good wheels in wheels

These are really good wheels. Get them on sale because they're not the modern wide rim carbon wheels you're seeing now. If you're still running 10-speed like me, the cassette hub will work, but not 11-speed. I have a set of Techlite alloy clincher tires that I use. They are very light but also narrow. These were really good bikes that I've been riding for over a year. But these wheels are actually lighter and I couldn't believe it. I weighed the wheels and they weighed just under 1300 grams without the skewers. They are incredibly light. I haven't had any problems with Novatec hubs so I expect the same from them. I put on race tires and expect a PR immediately. You can use a hair dryer to remove the stickers because they look awful. Update: On my first ride after a week of tire prep, I crashed a local 28km TT KOM when the exhaust pipe exploded just a few miles from the finish line (the latest generation Panaracer Race AI was $50). So it's been a few weeks since I've been able to buy another tire and glue (Continental Sprinter 25mm). Today I rode again and they are very sensitive to current and no problem in the wind. They are amazingly quiet, so quiet the dogs can't hear me. Plus, riding tubulars is a blissful ride. I live on flat land but that must be great for climbing. Get these if you don't have the money for ENVEUpdate #2: I got another race-only set when the price dropped. I got miles on my first approach. Pros: Affordable, fast, durable, virtually silent, tubular Beatitudes: needs to be leveled after a few miles (I do it myself), narrow by today's standards, flexible for climbing and sprinting
