Review on Dorman 600 802 Transfer Case Motor by Gerald Hill

Perfect fit for 1999 F150 with right angle connector. Installed in 15 minutes with no rush. I took out the ground pin/wire with a tiny flat head and reinstalled it on the new motor. I used the black gasket I had lying around, probably didn't need it. I saw an oil leak in the area so thought I would do it. In any case, the quality of the part seems to be good. Napa wanted to sell the exact same Dorman for $40 more. First I had to fix some vacuum issues in front of this part, behind the battery and above the motor. the relay was clicking), I decided to replace this part. 4x4 downshifts didn't engage at all either. Now the 4x4 light comes on as soon as I flip the switch and the low gear engages with the brake in neutral with no issues. This part solved the weird electrical issues and will be updated when it goes out of service. Inexpensive, works great out of the box.
