Took about an hour to assemble. I'm deducting a star because the amount of tiny styrofoam attached to the item was EVERYWHERE. I gave up taking them off during assembly and found out after hanging them on the wall. Also, the central vertical area where the two front cabinets close has a slight gap. Personally, it doesn't bother me too much, but if you have a minor OCD, it might bother you. I love that I can change the height of my 3 shelves and there is a surprising amount of space. I can put toilet paper in them even though they fit snugly.
