We bought our first PUREgrace mattress topper for our daughter's trundle bed a year and a half ago when we were looking for a safe, high quality product for her sleep after a disappointing and leaking cover. when buying a cot. We were so impressed with this bedspread that we bought it for her new double bed as well as our queen size mattress. This cover is easy to put on and take off and has proven to be waterproof; It has contoured sides so it wraps around the mattress and there is no accidental leakage if it slides. The material itself is so soft and comfortable it's hard to believe it will absorb liquid, but it does, as we can attest to on many nighttime accidents and sick days. It's not the kind of plastic shell that will keep you up all night or cause you to overheat. It's also very easy to clean; It washes well and dries fast, but I always air dried it as an extra precaution and it dries well throughout the day. I highly recommended this. If you can afford a little more, it's worth it.
