Design Change: Sport & Outdoor Accessories

I purchased this about a month ago and noticed that the photo above is different from mine. My model has a thin silicone membrane with slits to let water through when the bottle is squeezed. The membrane broke after a few uses. So now every time you wave your hand while running, a drop of water comes out, which is annoying. The bottle fits my hand well and the strap is very durable and comfortable.

Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

Big and bulky sports water bottle

I bought this bottle to replace my previous one - at least that's what I thought. I didn't look at the size and it's slightly larger than what I had. It doesn't fit me as snugly as the other one and feels a little chunky. However, it still gets the job done and is better for me than walking around with a water bottle tied to me. I'd rather wear that and if you run 10+ miles it's probably a better fit.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • For the old

Great before the band broke

Really liked my new water bottle until I ran down a staggering trail and broke the band. It was only my second run with the bottle and the fall wasn't that hard so I was surprised it broke so easily. I contacted Amphipod and found that just changing the belt would cost $14 + 3s per hour. That's almost the same as what I paid for the bottle to begin with. At the moment I am not sure if I will replace or find something stronger.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Great ultra wearable machine

I bought this machine for a 60k night run in Texas the last weekend of August. I ran with him a few times before the race and it was really nice. Due to summer hydration issues in Texas, I decided to use this in combination with (2) 10 ounce bottles on my hydration belt as a backup option. The strategy worked flawlessly. The liquid was enough to keep me well hydrated between aid posts and the bottle was very comfortable in my hand for over 9 hours. The lid closes well and is easy to screw on…

Really great portable bottle - fits well, easy to carry

This is our first portable bottle but highly recommended by friends who have tried many. My wife and I both love him. The strap is secure and fits well enough that you don't have to hold on to the bottle to carry it around. The foam coating keeps your fingers from feeling the plastic and is non-slip, and the bottle is perfectly shaped to grip when you really want to grip it. A small pocket for keys, gels etc on the outside is a great touch too. The bottle does not leak and is easy to open and…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons

I love running with water

Before I found this my mouth was like Sahara desert most of the time when I was running. Now I always wear it more than a few miles and it's so great that I have water. I've been using it for over 2 months. I was skeptical about carrying a bottle with me while running, but I wanted to give it a try. After a while you almost forget you're wearing it. In my opinion a good product. 1. The pen is great. This makes carrying a bottle much less annoying. 2. You can pack up to 2 packs of energy gel in…

Pros

Helps with long runs/workouts

Love it! I have 24 ounces because I need them to train for longer runs. I think another reviewer said the same. but I hate carrying anything when I run. But I couldn't live without him. Water alone wasn't enough to run 20 miles. Anyway, I'm used to running in it and now I don't know if I can run more than 8-10 miles without it. I've noticed a huge improvement in my runs since I've been hydrated?! I actually used the same bottle for my marathon a few days ago. Worked like a champ. Mine had…

Fantastic bottle for running water

I bought these about a month ago and use them for runs of about 5-6 miles What I do What's particularly noticeable is that the insulating sleeve makes two advances in insulation. This definitely keeps the liquid cool in the bottle; I usually fill the bottle half full with water then freeze it and about 30 minutes after starting at 80F there is still ice in the bottle. Secondly, it prevents the bottle from feeling cold on my arm - even with ice freshly taken out of the freezer, I only feel a…
