Review on ๐Ÿงด Hydraform Thermal-Lite Handheld BPA-Free Water Bottle 20oz with Amphipod by Tim Crowder

Fantastic bottle for running water

I bought these about a month ago and use them for runs of about 5-6 miles What I do What's particularly noticeable is that the insulating sleeve makes two advances in insulation. This definitely keeps the liquid cool in the bottle; I usually fill the bottle half full with water then freeze it and about 30 minutes after starting at 80F there is still ice in the bottle. Secondly, it prevents the bottle from feeling cold on my arm - even with ice freshly taken out of the freezer, I only feel a barely perceptible hint of coolness through the sleeve. The strap that keeps the bottle taut can be adjusted and generally I don't have to grip the bottle too tightly as the strap keeps my hand fairly tight on the bottle and the sleeve keeps it from slipping off. The pocket on the strap is big enough for keys and such, but I wouldn't expect to fit more in there. The valve opens gently and closes tightly; I can lift a full bottle over my head and not expect a leak. My only concern for durability is the rubber material that sits on the underside of the strap. It seems like it should be stretchier than it actually is, but I wonder how long this will last as it looks like sewing a strap onto it might be the only weak point. However, at this point it's just a concern for the future as I haven't had any trouble securing the bottle.

Pros

Cons
