AMAZING SCREEN AND EVEN BETTER WHEN YOU GIVE IT A MAGNOLIA FARM!

How to install this suction cup to wow your mom and impress your friends: FIRST: Prepare the wall. VERY IMPORTANT for image clarity. If that means painting it white, do it. If there are outlets on the wall that need to be covered, turn off the power switch (or don't if you're brave/stupid and have someone film), unplug the panel and outlet from the wall, and cover the junction box Paper the same shade of white as and a wall - color samples from the hardware store are ideal for this. Transparent packing tape for attaching works perfectly. NEXT: Set up the projector and aim it (so to speak) at the prepared wall. After adjusting, sizing, aligning and focusing, take a pencil and lightly trace the extent of the projected light directly on the wall. Use a folding ruler or something to make it nice and straight, or freehand if you're artistic. Once this is done, turn off the projector and remove this screen - either wash your hands beforehand or put on nitrile gloves to avoid staining it. It's big and you don't want to leave it on the floor, so place it in a clean laundry basket under where you plan to put it. Take a ladder, a hammer and some small nails. Attach the tabs to the wall and position the nails so the black nylon bordering webbing is about two inches from the outside of the penciled projector frame, which should be clearly visible through the transparent webbing of the screen. Note: The 150 inch screen will be slightly stretched when installed. When you're done, you'll notice that the edge of the screen between the grommets isn't a straight line. They'll be stretched and folded into a pencil-drawn projector frame, much like the water waves you drew with blue chalk as a kid. To fix this, take the flat knobs and pull those curved, submerged edges away from the pencil-projector border and tape the black screen border to the wall, leaving a two-inch gap between your pencil border and the black nylon remains. edge of screen. Tuck a few buttons between each eyelet and keep this black nylon trim as straight as possible. Ready? Sure, if you want, but why not make it look like Joanna Gaines is in charge of the job? Frame Assembly: Go to the hardware store and buy four 12 foot 1x4 boards. Get the good straight cuts and the ones with lots of knots, whorls and pockmarked skinny holes like Swiss cheese. Be sure to check the straightness of each board by holding the end of the board to your eye and looking down the side of the board as if aiming a gun. Throw away the crooked boards. Find the best four boards you can. Then go to the paint department and get a cheap brush and a can of stain in the color and shade you want. Before leaving the store, check out the hardware section and grab a bigger box of nails. Screws work great too, I just think the nails give it a more artistic look. If you come home because it would be weird to do it in a store lot, paint all four boards to your liking in a ventilated space like yours. an open garage if you don't want to get rid of the smoke headache and see things that aren't really there. Bring the (dry) boards to your project room. Lay out what will be the top board. Pre-drill a few holes (3 to 5, all measured and spaced apart so it seems like you don't care how they look). Drill them where you want your nails in the board to attach to the wall - the holes to be drilled should be slightly smaller than the diameter of the nails - you don't need to measure the diameter of the nail exactly, see it just look at yourself. Then insert the tips of the nails into the pre-drilled holes. Advice only. Giant. Mount the top piece of painted wood every 12 feet above the screen, overlapping the black border of the screen. The board should cover the nylon frame with all the nails, grommets and buttons. Remember that the edge of the tree shouldn't touch the edge of the pencil, but should be slightly away from it to give your projector room to wobble. Position the board so that the black nylon frame is not visible and is covered by the board. Note: This 150" screen requires the top and bottom boards to be a full 12 feet of wood. The sides will be shorter and will need to be measured and trimmed. Skillsaw, Sawzall, table saw, etc. will work. When you get the right measurements you can take the two boards back to the hardware store where they will cut them for free (e.g. Home Depot, Lowe's). Be sure to measure both sides independently in case they are not the same length. When installing, have someone help you hold the pole in place. Drive in the middle nail first, then move to the side and adjust the distance between the wood and the pencil line to match the distance in the middle. Hammer that nail. Then do the same on the other side. Now no tree is perfectly straight. Also gigity. If it's slightly bent (crooked or deformed), you may need to bend the board up or down a little before driving the nail. Then measure each side from the bottom edge of the installed top rail to the desired location. should be the top edge of the bottom rail. Cut two painted boards to this length, then attach them to the wall vertically on each side of the screen, the same distance and in the same way as the top rail. The bottom rail should line up with the bottom ends of the side rails if you have measured them correctly. Align and fasten the bottom rail to the wall. Now Instagram what a shiz you did and it looks amazing! I'm typing this at work (paid for an hour of downtime - it's the little things in life, right?) so I'll add my photos later so you can see how proud my own Mrs. Gaines is of me. Heck I just read that thing and obviously got carried away, it's huge!
