When this is finally in place it holds the phone in place fairly well. Finding the perfect angle to snap into is tedious and harder than it should be. If you're a person like me who shakes/holds your phone multiple times during a trip, this probably isn't for you. Putting your phone in there and leaving it there until the end of the trip might be the best option. Attempting to remove the phone with one hand is very difficult and reinserting is even more difficult and in my opinion results in the bracket coming loose and having to be re-tightened and reinserted. If you use a case and plan on moving your phone at all, I think the magnetic option is a much better option.
