Review on 📀 Toshiba SD-3109 DVD Player: Enhanced SEO-friendly Product Title by Justin Castro

I recently bought this from Goodwill at a bargain price mainly to work as a CD player. I use 2-channel analog audio for my stereo and wanted to use this player as my default CD player (instead of using my PC). For HDCD this player is fantastic, they sound fantastic. Unfortunately, normal audio CDs sound very distorted on it. I've played around with the settings, including the "Audio CD Fade" option, but it didn't sound very good anyway. I've heard before that HDCD players are notorious for resampling CDs by trying to play 24-bit audio from a 16-bit disc. DVD has a component output, a digital optical output, a video output, an S-video output and a 5.1 audio output. . Very advanced output options (including 16:9), I wish normal CD playback was better. If you have a huge HDCD collection this is a great player, don't even try to play standard audio CDs on it.
