Review by: Kitchen Organization Hooks, Won't Damage Wall Hooks Magnetic Fridge Hooks This hook system looks cheap, but it's actually stronger than it looks. The main shaft is plastic and the hooks are either nylon or other plastic, but they actually hold a deceptive weight. They're only about 1" long, which of course limits what you can carry with them. They stay stuck in the main stem until you pull them out. Once stressed they stay in place, but if you pull them out they just fall. They are of course designed for small parts. The system for attaching the bar to the wall is magnets and I wasn't impressed at first but after a bit of work they are pretty solid and I had no problems with them. Separation. I keep mine under the kitchen sink for cleaning brushes and sponges. This works well and helps keep things tidy.
