Okay, this review was written by a man, but I do laundry at home and have been doing laundry for 15 years. So if I use type terms like "smells good," please don't take offense. So we (my family) don't live in an area where Meyer is, so the name was completely foreign. After seeing a lot of great reviews and hoping to find a fabric softener that actually works within 5 minutes of taking it out of the dryer, we pulled the trigger and hoped for the best. My oh my I felt weird using less fabric softener than when pouring bourbon, but I even smelled lavender as I put clothes in the dryer. I skipped the dryer sheets for the first few loads to take full advantage of the fabric softener. After a boat I immediately felt the difference in the clothes I have worn for years. Shirts that have been soaked in years of sweat and dirt (you know the shirt I'm talking about, the one I'll never throw away) seem to have life back in the threads. Over the reborn cotton lies the wonderful, lingering scent of the lavender field of cotton perfection. And for some reason I'm blessed to wear this. Day after day. We've been using this for almost a year now and I've added Meyer dry leaves to the mix. This is such an amazing upgrade for our laundry room, even compared to the high-end "mainstream" teddy bear and muscle arm with baking soda. I am very happy with this purchase and will continue to buy it for a long time.
