UPDATE: While they're great for protecting small faces and bodies when dropped, they're terrible on walls. Removing them from the dangerous corners of my beautiful tiger oaks was a disaster. The paint was also peeled off the door's other trim strip. If you let it sit for 2 years then get ready for some serious woodwork or wall/door painting. Yes, it has saved my child from potential bites on a number of occasions and I am grateful. I would buy again if needed, but I would also look for a different tape. They are amazing! I have a lot of wood products and sharp corners in my house. When our one-year-old ran and fell, it was a real hazard. I did not live up to expectations. Okay, it's foam and probably cheap. It won't be a difficult task and it won't be a headache to get up. nope! I'm surprised! It was easy to put on. I tested it by hitting the corner after applying and nothing! I plan to buy a few more in the near future. You look good for child protection. The only issue I noticed is the smell right out of the box - it's quite strong. It smells like masks you put on your face for anesthesia. Let it air out on the porch or by the window for about 20 minutes before using. Update: This is the second time we have bought this. Although I had to re-record some of the others, it was more than worth it. My 14 month old daughter fell head first into a corner that normally split her forehead. Not even a bruise on them!
