--- Rating based on use with an iPhone, not Android --- BENEFITS: • Intuitive learning for beginners and a great solution for pros to improve their skills • Easy to put on standby mode, reducing consumption • Feels solid to hold with one hand, good weight but not enough to strain your hand/band for long shots • Tripod provides stability and gimbal support, allowing for more professional panoramic shots or time-lapse recording • 4 blue LEDs for level indication • Includes a protective styrofoam carrying case • Wheel grip ensures smooth scrolling and focusing • The ZY Play app lets you record in 4K resolution • The ZY app features a dizzying zoom mode to capture a " Jaws” effect that makes photography more professional • The ZY app has a panorama function when the gimbal i stabilized, it captures a 360-degree shot for a breathtaking view. • The ZY App allows full control with available buttons without even touching the phone. • The stabilizer minimizes and in many cases eliminates the stuttering that is often seen in videos during movement, e.g. B. when walking or running. The buttons are easy to reach with the thumb and offer good tactile feedback. - Centers the phone by holding down the bottom trigger, you rotate the phone in the same direction as the gimbal including tilt up/down, and holding the top trigger makes the motor stiffer to allow faster panning when as the gimbal moves Create a quick transition between scenes • PanFollow/Lock mode switch above the power button allows the phone to pan sideways but not tilt up or down, or face in one direction stabilize regardless of gimbal direction • Battery life is long when fully charged and can be used as a power bank to charge other devices. CONS: • The engine is said to have failed after a few uses and can no longer properly balance the iPhone X. • ZY Play App does NOT support Geotagging. Pictures or videos, even if it asks permission to access the location, therefore does not indicate the location where the photos or videos were taken and makes it useless to create memories • No user manual for the ZY Play app that needs to be watched on YouTube video • Sometimes the recording freezes and the device has to be turned off and on again to reconnect and stabilize. • Large phones like the iPhone Xs Max cannot balance the device properly, so more power is used to stabilize the phone and more battery power is consumed. • Phone charging requires a micro USB end connection to the stabilizer, forcing users to either purchase a micro USB to Lightning patch cable or an adapter to be used in conjunction with their existing Lightning charging cable . • The carrying bag is too big, not suitable for travel. HELPFUL ADVICE. • Balance your phone before turning on the gimbal with the adjustable lock on the side of your arm to ensure maximum battery usage. • To ensure proper balance, try removing all cases from your phone before placing it on the gimbal. • Make sure the gimbal is turned on before opening the ZY Play app, otherwise it will be difficult for the app to find the stabilizer • The ZY Play app has limited functions for Android devices
