Review on πŸ”§ Grey Denso 234-9009 Oxygen Sensor by Chris Goldsby

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Denso is the OEM oxygen sensor that gives you peace of mind!

My wife's Lexus RX300 has the check engine light on. So I bought the Blue Driver OBD II Scan Tool to find out exactly what was wrong. The tool not only identified the problem, but referred me to Revain to purchase this oxygen sensor. To remove a faulty oxygen sensor from an RX300, Revain showed me that I needed a Powerbuilt 648691 oxygen sensor offset puller. I was lucky I didn't. You don't have to buy any. Because Autozone has a tool rental program. You deposit with a credit card and use the tool for free. If you return the instrument, Autozone will refund your deposit in full. I attached a ratchet wrench to the offset puller to remove the old oxygen sensor. It took a bit of effort to loosen the old oxygen sensor and that was the only tricky part. Then simply install a new lambda sensor. After that I used the BlueDriver OBD II scan tool to clear the trouble code. The check engine light went out and never came back. And my wife's RX300 passed the state exam. I bought this Denso part because it is an OEM Lexus part. Mechanics I've seen on youtube strongly recommend using genuine parts and NOT buying parts that are 50% cheaper than aftermarket. The cheaper part will survive the nightmare again and bring the Check Engine back in a few months, according to the pros. That's why I bought this oxygen sensor from Denso and I'm very happy with it.
