According to a very knowledgeable person at Denso, 234-9007.

According to a very knowledgeable person at Denso, the 234-9007 and 234-9009 are identical sensors but with different cable lengths. 234-9009 has 14" lines and 234-9007 has 11" lines. In many Toyota applications (California-legal vehicles) that have used these sensors on the B1S1 and B2S1, they can be used interchangeably provided care is taken to drag clothing away from a nearby hot manifold. Having the right tool is important for those planning to replace the B1S1, as the space between the…

Oxygen sensor Denso 234-9009 - excellent!

As it is an OEM item it fits perfectly. The scanner (also purchased from Revain) showed DTC sensor bank 1 when the Check Engine/VSC/Track Off lights came on. The front and rear manifold sensors have been replaced and they have now done another 75,000 miles or so. The hardest part is squeezing the electrical connector to get the old block out. Be sure to purchase a sensor socket that makes it easy to remove the old sensor and install the new sensor. My wife's 2003 RX300 is working like new…

Perfect solution for Highlander '03 P0135 and P0155 CEL codes

My wife's Highlander started showing up with CEL codes P0135 and P0155. The original parts measured just over 2.5 ohms in the heating element (two black wires), while the Highlander needs a reading of around 1.5 ohms. Luckily this was documented on the forums so I could verify that these parts really needed to be replaced. That's what you need to replace. On a 2003 Highlander you can fit the torque arm to the sensor closest to the firewall by running along the driveshaft to the rear of the car…

Timely delivery, easy installation. Was familiar with dashboard icons and replaced the hardest to reach with my garage = $300+. I was asked to substitute another seat but was turned away because of $$$. It's been at least 4 years and another failed and I knew the dash icons and location, right in front of me and so easily accessible on my 2001 Lexus RX300. Took about 20 mins to install. Engine started and all warning symbols disappeared. I can mention that this is an OEM part, identical to the…

2000 Toyota Sienna (code - 1130)

One day my "Check Engine" light came on. At the Toyota repair center, they charged $150 just for the diagnosis. This is madness! Another small body shop asked for $366 to replace the air/fuel ratio sensor. I heard from them it was code 1130 and pointing to bank 1 sensor 1 - to the right (next to the firewall). I got an Innova 3100 handheld scanner and made sure it was code 1130 (it showed 1130 -B1/S1), checked online which sensor was suitable for replacement and bought this: 234-9009. I didn't…

Denso is the OEM oxygen sensor that gives you peace of mind!

My wife's Lexus RX300 has the check engine light on. So I bought the Blue Driver OBD II Scan Tool to find out exactly what was wrong. The tool not only identified the problem, but referred me to Revain to purchase this oxygen sensor. To remove a faulty oxygen sensor from an RX300, Revain showed me that I needed a Powerbuilt 648691 oxygen sensor offset puller. I was lucky I didn't. You don't have to buy any. Because Autozone has a tool rental program. You deposit with a credit card and use the…

1999 Lexus RX300 - Bank 1 Sensor 1 - Works like a charm!

My 1999 Lexus RX300 received CEL (P0125, P1030, P1033 and P1035). Read the stories on ClubLexus and make sure that Denso 234-9009 is a perfect match for Bank 1 Sensor 1 (behind the firewall, access from under the car). Removing the plug is the biggest work. Use a wire puller to hold part of the sensor connector up, press the tab on the right connector and release relatively easily. Jacked up passenger side, got under the car and sprayed PB Blaster Penetrating Oil on the threads of the old…

Sensor defective after 6000 km. Includes updated Holy Moth test

I bought a Denso sensor and had it professionally installed. I bought this part quite a while ago but have only driven a little over 6,000 miles (and I have proof) and now my check engine light is on again. The diagnosis shows that the same sensor needs to be replaced again. I thought these sensors should last longer. I was attempting to contact Revain for warranty information on a part. They emailed back asking for specific order information which I have since emailed them. It's been over 4…
