Review on 🔧 Grey Denso 234-9009 Oxygen Sensor by Jacob Richardson

One day my "Check Engine" light came on. At the Toyota repair center, they charged $150 just for the diagnosis. This is madness! Another small body shop asked for $366 to replace the air/fuel ratio sensor. I heard from them it was code 1130 and pointing to bank 1 sensor 1 - to the right (next to the firewall). I got an Innova 3100 handheld scanner and made sure it was code 1130 (it showed 1130 -B1/S1), checked online which sensor was suitable for replacement and bought this: 234-9009. I didn't have the right equipment to lift the van so I went to another shop to have the sensor replaced. The cheapest labor I could find in California was $110. So I ended up saving at least $150. The sensor worked like clockwork. Came sealed in a plastic bag along with lube in a box. The check engine light has not come on since the sensor was replaced (about 300 miles so far). The sensor was sold to Revain.com LLC. I had some doubts, but hey, you really don't know what parts the shop will put in for you. I saw on Revain someone selling a Toyota genuine A/F sensor and saw a lot of advice on buying a genuine sensor. Then I saw a review from someone who bought what they called a Toyota original sensor and it failed after a week. I tried this Denso sensor and so far I have no regrets.
