Review on Polk Signature Elite ES10 Surround Loudspeaker: Hi-Res Audio Certified, Dolby Atmos & DTS:X Compatible (Pair, Elegant White-Washed) by Brandon Daughenbaugh

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Get these as Atmos speakers to complete the perfect Polk kit. Wasn't disappointed.

Polk makes phenomenal speakers at an affordable price. Their signature line is all you need to create a proper 5.1 or 7.1 setup that will never let you down. I have a BIC F1 subwoofer which is also incredible value for money. I plan to get another one for the 5.2/7.2 setup. Get these items on sale, there is no point in paying full price. In fact, most people will never use a 7.1 system. There just aren't many Blu-ray or streaming sources that offer better sound than 5.1. Dolby Atmos is probably the best use for a 7.1+ receiver, with a pair of small speakers, either on floorstanding speakers or in the top corners of your TV wall, reproducing atmospheric sounds: rain, running water, blowing wind. trees, sounds of battle. I built the rest of my surround sound system around a pair of Polk Reference II two-way floorstanding speakers I previously purchased (shown, one grille removed) that sonically match the brand's range. S30 Center (shown), S15 Surround (shown on an Ikea bookshelf for size reference), S10 Atmos speakers. Receiver Marantz 6000 series (shown). For the price, this setup is hard to beat. If you want the best sound, it's going to cost you a fortune. In the photos the grilles are removed, the grilles are magnetic which is great. My kids destroyed a few, replacements were adequate.
