Review on LG 32UL500-W Display - FreeSync Compatible 31.5" 4K UHD, Wall Mountable, 32UL500W, HD by Blake Delozier

This review was 2-3 stars until I found the right setting to get 60Hz! For all my life I could not get my PC or M1 Mac mini to display refresh rates above 30Hz. At first I thought it was the cable from the kit. After swapping out the cables and getting very frustrated, I start poking around in the settings. Since I had a computer connected to an M1 Mac Mini at the time, I thought there was no point in enabling Freesync - but lo and behold! It WAS the solution! Bam - 60Hz! Despite all the negative reviews stating that the supplied cables aren't capable of 60Hz, they can (tested with both HDMI and DVI) when Freesync is enabled! There is nothing about this in the very sparse manual. Fantastic picture, excellent brightness, pure black color. The only thing I find negative is the viewing angle. When you are not looking at the monitor, the edges become very blurred.
