Review on Memorex 4X DVD Pack Spindle by Gary Shakeone

I first bought this 25 pack on October 3rd 2009, each disc worked fine on each of my computers and I switched from computer to Magnavox DVR or DVR Phillips, I dubbed and re-recorded what I thought many times. They are constantly used, deleted and overwritten daily. although the rotation is only 2 to 4 discs a day, and sometimes even one at a time. this is where my problems started. with math because the product description says "up to a thousand" and if I just multiply 4 years by the number of days I get 1460 which would be absolutely awesome because that would mean I would have done over 1000 rewrites, BUT, the fact is not every disk is used every day, most days only one is overwritten and re-rotated, so in the "worst case" you have to divide the number of days by the number of disks in rotation to divide. approx. 58 entries before disk failure. However, in that sense, if you don't miss your favorite show conflicting with the time slot, another show, another job, etc., it's still no more than pennies. So, conclusion. They grossly exaggerate thousands of re-recordings, but with the disappearance of that type of media and only a cent per show compared to a dollar or more for ordering anything on-demand. I think I will buy them again. Grrr, don't overdo it! Well, give Memorex a guess of the doubt about their 1000 paraphrases. maybe it's because the recording medium hasn't lasted the last four years.
