Excellent DVDs for Accessories and Consumables

These DVDs work. I read some reviews about them that said it doesn't format the drive. If you record video files on it, you have to format the wrong drive; these are files. Once you have converted your video files to NSTC DVDs or any that have ever played in your country, you can burn them to disc. It will play on your DVD player. Again, the files need to be converted for whatever type of DVD player you have. I've been doing this for many years now and never had a problem after learning how to…

Great for my Windows Media Center recordings!

I received these rewritable DVDs to watch TV shows recorded on my computer. I'm new to the DVR world and not everything in my house is wired to broadcast TV recordings from my computer to my favorite TV. While blank DVDs burned once are pretty cheap, I couldn't bring myself to produce that much junk (I'm not a fan of "collecting" shows). These rewritable DVDs are perfect for watching a show once and then reusing it. It's even better to remove ads on your computer before ripping them to DVD…

you work for me - DVD+RW

Seller: Revain.com Purchased: June 2013 Price $15. Back then, they claimed free shipping. The item arrived undamaged. All hard drives worked perfectly. I checked all the files written to the discs (many different file types). All files were readable and could be copied from DVDs and pasted back onto my Western Digital hard drive. I used an external LG DVD drive to burn the discs. It was bought in 2005. My internal regular DELL DVD drive reads them, but I haven't tried writing to those discs…

DVD+RW update is suitable for DVD+RW discs

Attention buyers. I bought a spindle 25, so far only 2 out of six are formatted. My voice recorder is blocked. I'll keep you updated on the other 19. I have always used Memorex's +RW with no problems, now I only have problems. I will try the Sony RW as my recorder will be separate from both. Completion doesn't matter unless I copy the film from my VHS library. Update 2 of 25 no longer formats Memorex. As with many others with negative reviews, it's doubtful you'll run into the same issue, and…

Memorex DVDs & CDs: Accessories & Supplies

Memorex has always been a brand that I have always used and relied on! - I also use their ExPressit DVD/CD Template Designs and their precise (sticky) "CD/DVD Label Making Pkgs" to create professional looking CD labels for my own solo CDs at : BlkIndiansMusic dot org! - I only had 1 "unusable" DVD and 2 CDs out of the 400+ CDs and DVDs I've ever tried to use from Memorex! - That's what I call an EXCELLENT RECORDING! - All humans are imperfect, but Memorex Corp. also seems to defy the laws of…

Very low quality product

I've always thought of Memorex as a quality company so when I needed to burn some movies to DVD I bought 3 packs of these DVD-RWs (enough for a lifetime I thought). burned the videos to discs and everything ran smoothly, no errors, then after I was done I put them in my DVD player and... Stut Stut video stuttering! Every Memorex DVD-RW I've recorded was riddled with audio skipping, video stuttering, and artifacts popping up on screen every minute or two. At first I thought my DVD player was…

Questionable durability? Field Test

I first bought this 25 pack on October 3rd 2009, each disc worked fine on each of my computers and I switched from computer to Magnavox DVR or DVR Phillips, I dubbed and re-recorded what I thought many times. They are constantly used, deleted and overwritten daily. although the rotation is only 2 to 4 discs a day, and sometimes even one at a time. this is where my problems started. with math because the product description says "up to a thousand" and if I just multiply 4 years by the number of…

Assorted Memorex DVD+RW discs

I have bought several hundred Memorex DVD+RW discs over the last few years and although I have had stands from time to time most discs have worked reasonably well on Samsung DVD recorders (two different models) that I have used. My recent order for two 25 disc spindles resulted in me receiving two Memorex DVD+RW spindles with a different Memorex label to that used on the previously received spindles (the label on the spindle was a different design as well like the printed pattern on each disc).

Pros
  • DVD+RW discs
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
