Update March 2021 - Memory corruption issues after 4 months My mac started corruption due to memory errors. After testing with 2 modules at the same time, the 2 module set is ok, one of the other 2 module sets had a problem, I didn't take the time to find out which one was bad and got a quick reply had to return 2 modules before they sent a replacement so they came back (via USPS unfortunately) my mac works fine with 64gb with 2 modules will update this review when i get replacement modules no need to stay now I'm very nervous about the reliability of these modules. At least the company responded quickly and I hope to get replacement modules quickly. I've never had a problem like this with Crucial Storage on my previous computers Mac I really hope I'm not wrong trying to save a few bucks. It's very frustrating to see your Mac crashing in the middle of work. Decided to install 4 x 32GB memory modules BEFORE starting a new iMac. I took out 2 modules of 4GB. Allowed. Nothing. What a painful feeling. I've read where another review pointed out a problem with this, but also read that it doesn't matter. I took out the 32GB modules and put 2 4GB modules back in. Launched with no problems. go through the start-up process. Turn off your iMac. I removed 2 modules of 4GB and reinserted 4 modules of 32GB. I looked at the iMac. A bit concerned as the iMac hasn't shown the Apple logo in ages. Then, when all hope was gone, the Apple logo and start appeared. I assume the iMac took extra time to look for 128GB. Maybe I didn't wait long enough when I first started. Anyway, the iMac now has 128GB of 2667MHz modules, and this baby is fast with the i7, 8 cores, 16 threads, 3.8GHz, Turbo, 5.0GHz. Now it's a computer. I'll train the iMac and let you know if memory issues arise. I'm running Windows with Parallels and now have 32GB installed for the Windows VM. I also have an Ubuntu server on Parallels and I can try running the Windows server and Ubuntu at the same time to see how this baby works, although I've never tried it before. The memory needs to be trained well. I was very hesitant to try this memory, but at around $150 under Crucial and OWC, I thought it was worth a try. So far, so good.
