Review on πŸ”₯ Enhancing SDR Performance: Introducing Flamingo AM Notch Filter for Broadcast AM Bandstop Applications by Dan Dickey

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Claimed performance is generous

The maximum attenuation I measured was 37 dB at 1171 kHz and the minimum stop-band attenuation was 22 dB at 905 kHz. This is indeed a 20dB stop band filter, not the 40dB they advertised. Still works, but not quite the wall that was promised. The insertion loss at 3MHz is 0.37dB, so the insertion loss is not bad.

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • No instructions
