I have washed microfiber towels (car towels) and kitchen towels in the same washing machine for over 10 years. On the second wash (first wash before use) one of the eCloth kitchen towels lost thread. A towel has never ended like this. Maybe unlucky? I contacted eCloth and they only suggested that I cut it off and use a gentle cycle or put it in a laundry bag next time. It's not the first time I've washed/used microfiber, but if eCloths are more "sensitive" than premium microfiber car trim towels, then I might need to try a different brand. Hopefully the other eCloths I've bought hold up the delicate cycle. The towel itself feels soft and absorbs water well, better than cotton kitchen towels. Looks better than regular microfiber towels.
