Review on Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Fixed Lens - Discontinued by Manufacturer by Riko Doi ᠌

Great product, a pleasure to use.

When buying, it is necessary to carefully check the debris on the lenses, very often there are specimens with plastic shavings inside. To achieve an excellent picture on this glass, you need to have "straight" hands or shoot from a tripod, since there is no stub and you need to shoot only in manual mode, otherwise you will get a picture of the quality of a whale or even worse. This glass is NOT a REPLACEMENT for a WHALE, this glass is an excellent ADDITION to a whale, for example, it is impossible to conduct reportage shooting on a child’s matinee on it, it’s better to do it on a whale, this is a portrait glass and that says it all! There are no analogues in this price category! In general, if you want to replenish your family photo archive with excellent photo portraits, and the budget is limited, take this lens and get ready to move to the next level of photography. you will have to experiment and learn how to work with manual modes on the carcass before you start squeezing out of this glass to the fullest! I used glass on the 600D and on the 5D Mark II, on the body it is more or less working starting from f2 on full-frame from f1,8
