I only received it yesterday, so I can't say anything about the durability. The volume control on the earbud proved useless, but for my purposes it didn't make much of a difference. I wanted comfortable headphones to sleep with. I listen to white noise when I sleep to block out outside noise and these were the most comfortable headphones I could find. They are completely in the ear and there is no pressure whatsoever on the ear pressed against the cushion. The sound quality is ok for my purposes. I don't know how it is with the music. I am very happy with these headphones.
