Review on 🔒 JR Products 00145 1.375 inches Compartment Door Thumb Lock by Chuck Hernandez

I was a little wondering if this would fit and what length I should get. The 1 3/8 I finally chose goes through the 1/2" plywood door and then hooks onto the edge of the 3/4" plywood cabinet. I tape foam along the door so it doesn't rattle like it does in a van. With a straight piece and a slight offset that can go either way, quite a bit of adjustment can actually happen. Be careful when removing the latch from the area where it snaps and make sure it has enough room to turn over and sit in the closed position. I wish the swing latch was a little larger and easier to use as a handle as I use it on the main cabinet in my van. It works though and I didn't expect it to be more. All the ones I looked at looked about the same size. I am happy with my choice. I gave one star for installation because you really need to pay attention and plan. Unless you're replacing an existing latch.
