Compared to several older IR thermometers

Summary: I bought two infrared (IR) thermometers a while ago (2016 and 2017) so I will compare this ROCKSEED to them. I use IR thermometers for general temperature measurements and more recently for charging solar/photovoltaic arrays, specifically measuring the temperature of the batteries while charging. One annoyance with the ETEKCITY (2017 onwards) is that it has a blue backlight but is very difficult to photograph, which PEAKMETER has no problem with. Another feature of IPros: good fit and workmanship; color screen; normal AA batteries. Disadvantages: none. Verdict: $20, 5 star rating. product/B013X0NQT02016 // Etekcity Lasergrip 774 Non-Contact Digital Infrared Thermometer, Yellow/Black $24https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00837ZGRY
