It took me a few presses to figure out how far down I had to push my laces to attach the elastic base to the flexible foot brace. After getting to know this place, I can say that it's great for two reasons: (1) price; (2) It works. I didn't have to worry about breaking my leg because I wear compression stockings like regular socks. My orthopedic expert kind of mentioned a leg brace, but it was a lot cheaper than the other types she suggested. PS The information from other users about the need for shoes with laces was a great help.
