F-150 AC water leak easily fixed
My Ford dealer would keep my truck for days just to make this TB. I decided to try it myself. TB to eliminate the flooded right carpet contains many unnecessary steps. Buy, turn steering wheel all the way to the left. Pass the fender, find the A/C drain and insert it into the small side first, with the large nipple down. The water then runs off the fire wall. I then sealed the firewall gasket with aluminum foil to provide the missing thermal protection. (Source of the shrink pad and leakage.) However, it took 4 days of constant use of a floor fan to dry out the felt cushioning material.
