Works great. It's always nice to know that your aquarium is clean. The only complaint is that it seems very prone to shrinkage at lower temperatures. By that I mean it connects with no problem, but once drained, when your waste has cooled in the tank, the plastic seems to shrink and is almost impossible to remove. I stopped tightening it fully once it was plugged in. My other opaque connector comes off with no problem. Just something to watch out for if you don't have a lot of grip strength.
