Size 5-9k larger than the ball joints I pressed out. When trying to press in due to the extra thickness, I had to hand file and sand my aluminum hand to recreate the shape. And I put the ball joint in the drill and sanded it down with sandpaper. I finally pressed it in on the fourth try and it finished. On the other hand I put it in a drill press and filed it and then sanded it to bring it closer to the pressure point. It took some effort, but it worked out in the end. This may be fine if you have butchers changing your ball joints and you have a torn hole, but otherwise 500 ft lbs on a ball joint press isn't going to get them home without modification. .
