I bought a KeeQii HDMI capture card to use my Sony 4K camcorder as a webcam for the Zoom classes I teach in my MS and HS classes. The webcam on my iMac looks very blurry and so wide that it covers too much of the room. With my Sony 4K camcorder I can zoom, position and focus exactly where I need it. Image quality day and night. Although the card's video output reaches a maximum resolution of 1080, this is enough to produce a high-quality image. I ran it with 3 hours of scaling lessons with no crashes. Also the capture card/dongle device did not overheat. Best of all, as soon as I plugged it in, my iMac and the Zoom software recognized it as a USB camera! Not configurable for corrections or jump cycles. The HDMI and USB ports are the right size and I had no trouble connecting the device or cables. my nintendo switch. Breath of the Wild looked amazing! I used a Vilicome 8-in-1 USB-C hub to connect to a KeeQii USB stick and immediately started playing with Quicktime. I was amazed at how easy it was! I thought about getting another big brand camera capture card for a while, but I could never stand the price. Now I do not need!
