Review on 💡 Jerdon JS811W LED Lighted Vanity Mirror - 8x11" Rectangular, 10x Magnification Spot Mirror, White Finish by Elizabeth Thornton

When I first got this mirror, the lighting was so incredibly bright it hurt my eyes. I never received the batteries that were supposed to ship with the product. I put new batteries in the mirror. After just a few uses, the light became just the opposite of bright. At first I thought my eyes had adjusted to the light, but the light turned out to be getting very dim. I only turned on the light for ten minutes each time and used the mirror about 5 or 6 times in total. I changed the batteries again. The light with another new set of Duracell batteries came on very brightly and started dimming after about thirty seconds. Then the light flickered on and off. The batteries are installed according to the instructions on the back. I removed the cap to replace brand new batteries and one of the batteries had a cap that was melting and the spring to the mirror looked problematic. The other batteries used in this pack were great in other items so I'm guessing it was a mirror. I have contacted support and we are proceeding with the return. Such a crap.
