06/26/2019I'm a single woman, I don't know how to do small repairs at home, but I don't have the skills for something big. I've never changed a faucet, I'm so clueless about plumbing repairs. So I was very sad when my sink plug broke (this must be the washroom where all my guests can see my ugly broken drain plug). The top part broke off part of the drain a few months ago. Since then I've avoided costly plumber calls. But a rubber stopper in a beautiful guest bathroom just isn't enough! It finally dawned on me to look to Revain for a repair plug. If only I had done that sooner! The repair plug from PF WaterWorks arrived yesterday, but I was logically a little (very much, actually) afraid that I might screw something up. I know I saw a short and clear video of this when I ordered the part, but I couldn't find it today. But the photos on the back of the box are pretty clear and the step-by-step instructions are very clear. There is nothing to worry about. In literally two minutes the cork was fully installed. And what, in my surprised eyes, should have appeared but a cork that works great and looks like the real thing. Wonderful! After installation, I filled the sink halfway with water and it doesn't drip a bit. This is a WOW product. I like to use them all the time because they are perfect and so easy to install. Of course, I'll probably never need one again. But you can't go wrong with that. What a great and inexpensive way to fix a sink plug.
