Review on Eighty Days Tactical Hydration Multitool by Brett Gilbert

Just what my husband needs on hot summer days when cleaning the pools

This is the second hydration pack I've bought. I bought another brand and my husband decided he needed one for running around the neighborhood cleaning pools and doing other chores. He's not a traveler like me so I bought him this one because it's pretty basic. My husband liked it and said it was good for what he wanted to use it for. The only thing he had to do was get a waist belt extender buckle. He couldn't buckle it because it was too big. The extension worked well. Adjusted the chest strap and it fits perfectly. Bladder is ok. It has a screw-top opening big enough to put ice cubes in and should be easy to clean. There are two slots on the top of the bladder that can be used with the attached clips inside the pocket to secure the bladder in place. The bubble is in a pocket inside the pocket. There is plenty of room to add other things if needed. There is an external pocket that is as deep as the main zipped compartment but not as wide. It also has enough space for other things. There is also an elastic drawstring on the outside of the bag which I think you can use to attach a light jacket or maybe wet clothes. Not sure what the purpose is. There are two plastic loops at the top of the outer pocket for hanging things like keys. You should have your own clips as there aren't any for that. Shoulder straps approximately 3 inches wide and along with the back of the backpack have a mesh cover on the bottom. The straps are also adjustable. There is a zippered mesh pocket on each side of the waist belt. These bags are small, 4 1/2" x 3 1/2" deep. Good for storing small things. The back of the backpack also has a lining, which is very nice. Along with the backpack was a bonus multi-tool. I confiscated it for my own hydration pack. It's pretty cool. It comes in a plastic leather case. It comes with a card printed on both sides to show you what each tool is and everything is numbered so you know what goes where. I will laminate the card so it doesn't spoil. Another point. On each shoulder strap near the base you will find a slot through which you can thread the hose from the water bladder. You can choose which side is more convenient for you to drink from. The bite valve on the pipe has an open and closed switch to prevent water leakage. I got this Eighty Days hydration pack at the disco. without obligation to change.
