Review on 💻 Dell Optiplex 5040-SFF Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, DVD, Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (Refurbished) by Alan Estell

I have previously written a review but have now purchased many of these so I feel a little more confident in speaking about them and also have some experience with issues and returns now too., and I was EXTREMELY pleased with how the seller handled everything. the old ones we bought new but it's all at the 9 year mark now so clearly we're having issues. My last batch consisted of 4 cars. 3 worked perfectly. I absolutely LOVE these machines. So fast that they can handle anything you throw at them. We've even had users running Adobe Creative Cloud apps with no issues. A bad one seemed to have an issue with the SSD, but a call to customer service (who showed up immediately with no phone tree) and they straight up offered to send a new drive on an expedited basis. I was positively surprised. I'll update this if the hard drive doesn't ultimately fix the issue, but I'm pretty sure it will. I almost downgraded this to 4 stars but I feel like we all know rebuilding is risky and we expect problems, but it was amazing. That's out of the question for me - I won't buy any more computers here in the future! The Optiplex 5040 and Latitude 5470 seem to strike the middle ground for refurbished machines. Amazing price, reliability, speed - great machines overall and we're only paying about 1/3 of what we're paying for new. With a success rate of over 90% and quick replacement of defective machines or parts, you can't go wrong! 5 stars are well deserved.
