Review on ๐Ÿ’ฅ Bilstein 24-185981 4600 Series Shock Absorber: Superior Performance for Ultimate Suspension Control by Aaron Ayo

These beats will cure your inept job with super debt! (Stock dampers are also very bad).

Significant improvement in running smoothness, ease of assembly. The stock shocks on my 2015 F250 4x4 were questionable from the start and fired after 20,000 miles. I ordered a pair of Bilsteins for the rear of this F250 as I had previous experience with them on a 2004 F150 that I owned. The old F150 shocks were even worse than the current OEM F250 shocks. The F150 handled much better after Bilstein, I decided I would do it on my F250. It took me an hour to install both rear shocks on my F250 and I didn't drop the replacement part or use jack stands or anything. The truck was just there. The bolt heads on the lower shock are 15mm and the nuts on the upper and lower shock mounts require an 18mm wrench or socket. Although the shocks have a strip, the length is not exact for a perfect fit on either end of the shock. So, after installing the top bolts on the new shocks, use a small jack to pry up the bottom tab of the shock. Shock absorber (compression shock absorber) about half a quarter inch up to align bottom bolt hole, insert bolt into eyelet, lift bolt and you're done. Don't worry, the setup isn't that bad. I have already installed Bilstein steering dampers, front shock absorbers are coming soon. Happy automobile! Let's clear control of these things, no more shaking and bouncing everywhere!
