I have very sensitive skin that becomes irritated when I use traditional loofahs and sponges.I am also very grossed out by traditional loofahs and sponges on account of the fact that they never fully dry in between showers.This silicone scrubber feels so nice and gentle on my skin, yet it still exfoliates without giving me angry red bumps on my arms and legs. It is always fully dry by the time I use it again.There are some issues that were easily resolved with some minor adjustments:Problem: Liquid gel soap tends to slide right off. Solution: You need to lather it up BEFORE scrubbing. I pump the soap onto the scrubber, use my hand to lather it into the bristles, and then use it on myself. No lost soap.Problem: I find myself needing an extra pump of soap since the scrubber isn't absorbing any of it.Solution: Honestly, for me this is fine. I'll use one extra pump if it means soap and skin cells won't be clogged in it for eternity, thank you.Problem: Some people find it hard to grip.Solution: I personally have no problem holding onto it thanks to the textured back. I can see how it might be difficult for some people. There is a loop you can use for your finger(s) to add extra security, but I find that uncomfortable and not particularly helpful.I love that I can reuse this endlessly without worry of it becoming unhygienic and needing replaced on a regular basis. Definitely would buy again if I ever need to.
